Ab 7. August 2008 liefert ALDI ein neues 15,4″-Multimedia-Notebook. Das Medion Akoya MD 96850 glänzt insbesondere durch seinen 9-Zellen-Li-Ion-Akku.
Im Notebook werkelt ein Standard Intel Pentium Dual-Core Prozessor mit 1,86 GHz. Die Grafik kommt ebenfalls von Intel. 3 GB Arbeitsspeicher und eine 250 GB Festplatte runden das Angebot ab. WLAN nach n-Draft-Standard garantiert Highspeed. Ansonsten finden sich alle notwendigen Anschlüsse am Notebook. Als Betriebssystem kommt Windows Vista Home Premium zum Einsatz.
